Do you guys ever stroll down the seasonal aisles in Target? I am always a sucker for the holiday baking and candy area. Well, my last visit I was sure to take a tour. From all the chocolate bunnies, eggs, and Easter baskets, everything was adorable! I just wanted to buy it alllllllll. So this bark was an excellent way of justifying that decision. I am personally a huge fan of Robin Eggs (Whoppers malted milk balls of course) and Easter M&Ms. Even though they taste the same as the original M&Ms, they are just so much cuter in pastel colors.
So to get into the Easter spirit I decided to combine all of my favorite springtime candies into one fun treat: Easter Bark!! This bark is so colorful, happy, and just screams spring. I used my seasonal favorites, but you can definitely customize it according to your tastebuds. Throw on any of your faves!
I especially like how you can use different flavors and textures. The combo of white and milk chocolate make for a great pairing. The milk chocolate from the candies balances the super sweetness of the white chocolate. Also, the creamy, smooth base serves as the perfect canvas for the crunchy shells on the M&M’s and malted milk balls. Go ahead an indulge in your sweet tooth, it’s Easter!

12 ounces mini white chocolate chips (one package)
1/4 cup Whoppers Mini Robin Eggs halved
1/4 cup pastel M&M’s
1. Line a medium sized baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. Place 1 cup mini chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl (I actually used a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup). Microwave for 30 seconds and stir with a rubber spatula. Repeat this process until all of the chocolate is melted. This may take up to 5 minutes total (it only took me about a minute and a half). Add the remaining chocolate chips to the melted chocolate and stir until just melted (if the chips are not melting easily you may return it to the microwave and heat for an additional 15 seconds). The chocolate will look glossy.
3. Pour the white chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet. Put on the sprinkles, M&M’s, and halved Mini Robins Eggs on the chocolate. Use as much or as little as you like. The measurements above are a guideline. Gently press the candy onto the white chocolate.
4. Place in the refrigerator to set for about 1 hour until completely hard. Break into pieces and enjoy! Store at room temperature.
