How do you guys feel about Nutella? Lover or hater? I personally am a lover of it! I can eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon and have no shame. What better way to enjoy Nutella than to make a pie out of it!
This dessert combines two of my favorites…Nutella AND Oreos. I start out with a homemade Oreo crust. I crush the cookies up in a resealable bag with a rolling pin. I totally use this as my anger management for the day. It’s where I get out all my aggressions. Anything bothering you today? Someone cut you off in traffic? Are your co-workers pushing you over the edge? (Just saying) Take it out on the pie. You’ll feel better! If you’d like to save more time use a food processor for this step.
To make this pie even quicker and easier to make, go ahead and use a store-bought Oreo pie crust. (I won’t judge)
If you’re feeling guilty about eating this pie you shouldn’t! Here’s why: it’s made with silken tofu. You’re probably thinking ewwwwwww. But it provides a creamy, neutral base for all of that nutty, silky, chocolatey Nutella goodness. You don’t have to feel guilty because tofu is healthy! (At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself) It is low calorie, low fat, and has protein as well. I promise you won’t even taste it.
Nutella pie is one of those desserts that tastes better than it looks. Yeah maybe it gets a little messy while cutting but, it tastes so good you’re going to want to pack up and live in it. Go ahead and shove it into your pie hole. I will tell no one 😉 Feeling fancy? Add some dollops of whipped cream to garnish, or spread it all over the top. You really can’t go wrong here!

Nutella Pie
Oreo Crust
20 Oreos
4 tablespoons of butter
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On medium heat add the butter to a small saucepan. Heat until just melted.
2. Place the Oreos into a large resealable bag. Crush with a rolling pin until they resemble fine crumbs. Add the crumbs and melted butter to a medium sized bowl. Moisten with a fork until well coated. Press evenly into a 9 inch pie plate and bake for ten minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before filling.
Pie Filling
1 16 oz. package silken tofu
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 13 oz. jar Nutella
Directions
1. Add the silken tofu to a blender and blend on medium speed until smooth (about one minute). To the tofu, add the honey and vanilla blending until combined. Add the Nutella by heaping tablespoon, mixing after every other addition, on medium/high speed until completely smooth.
2. Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and freeze overnight, or until completely set.
Notes:
- If your pie plate is especially shallow you may have some filling left over. Pour the filling into dessert cups for an extra treat!
- If you find it difficult to cut this pie from the freezer move to the refrigerator about a half hour before serving.
